I am still not supporting Libertarian Robert Sarvis for Governor. But I felt my readers ought to know what he is doing and if you want to help him, go ahead. I promised good ink for the Libertarians this election.
Here are excerpts from the Sarvis fundraising letter I got in my email (along with millions of others who asked to be on his email list!):
Polls show Virginia voters can’t stand either major-party candidate—a whopping 40% want a third choice. And the Libertarian Party is offering them that choice.Robert Sarvis, the Libertarian nominee for Governor, offers a forward-thinking vision for Virginians disgusted by both crony capitalism and morality meddling. He is a candidate who can attract voters with a simple message of keeping Virginia open-minded and open for business. And he’s running a full-spectrum liberty campaign focused on themes like school choice, tax relief, free markets, an end to the drug war, and marriage equality.
We CANNOT let the Democrats convince voters that “business-friendly” policy involves handouts of taxpayer dollars to politically-connected cronies.
We CANNOT let Republicans convince voters that “small government” doesn’t apply when it comes to our private lives.

A stronger middle class, fueled by better paying jobs, more opportunity, and a more competitive economic environment that encourages our businesses to invest and grow.A stronger economy that can produce new jobs for the thousands who are currently out of work. And to be clear, we should be trying to create those jobs right here in Virginia. Not in Mississippi or in China.A smarter government, with streamlined regulations and a fairer and more competitive tax code, without so many loopholes for the powerful and well connected. An education system that allows every child, regardless of where they live, the opportunity to receive a quality education, that gives parents greater control over their children’s education, and that rewards and recruits the best teachers.
A transportation system that advances our economy and betters our quality of life.
